Key things to know about the adapter
I read through multiple reviews and almost didn't buy it. Ignore the haters. The issues (most) people are having are related to installation. They're either stripping the bolts, snapping the nuts, or snapping the piece itself. Others are mangling the hardware by cross-threading. Fortunately, these things are all avoidable. Here's how to do it right:1) put the bolts through the plate, put the nuts on BY HAND and gently tighten with fingers only.2) put the adapter with finger tightened hardware into the desired slot. Ensure the bolt is not touching the gas block. If it is, try rotating the adapter - it is NOT symmetrical. This may allow you to shift the position slightly to avoid interference. If you still have interference, your options are buy a shorter bolt, cut the bolt shorter, or select a different attachment spot.3) when orientation and placement is decided, put a drop of blue loctite on the threads. Put the assembly up to the handguard.4) Loosen the nut with the allen wrench a few (mine was about 3) revolutions, until the nut rotates. Slowly retighten the nut till its about finger tight again. The nut will have rotated the 90 degrees needed to lock in.5) repeat for the 2nd nut6) Use 2 fingers slid all the way near the 90 degree bend of allen wrench to tighten. If you have a FAT torque wrench, it would be something crazy low, like maybe 5 in-lb of torque to tighten it. I wouldn't be surprised if 10 in-lb would snap or strip the retaining nuts. If no torque wrench, DO NOT crank down on it. Torque it very gingerly and gently. If you take a little care and caution during the install, it's a great value. If you're careless, you will cross thread it or strip it. If you don't want to take the necessary care during install, a Magpul at more than twice the price is likely the way to go.Fit and finish is average. It's not a show-piece. It's inexpensive, but functional. I'm giving it 5-stars for value.

Good quality item with wrong wrench included
This is the second TuFok item I have ordered (the other being a picatinny rail). As with the other item, I’m impressed with the quality of this sling mount for the price. It is precisely machined and the finish is very good. I would give it five stars, but the wrench that was included for installation is too small for the screws provided, and risk stripping out the hex heads. This was the same case with the picatinny rail. It appears that a 2.5mm wrench is included, but I used a SAE 1/8” that was a much better fit and allowed proper torque. Either the provided wrench is too small, or the screw heads are too large. If you use the proper size wrench and not what is provided, the sling mount is a good value.

A must have with a metal MLOK sling adapter.
Love it. It fits as described by the seller and if you're looking for a simple sling for your new MLOK rail, or like me who needed a place for your bi-pod and you just purchased an MLOK system? Then I'd recommend this. It's rock steady and it accepts all of my sling mounted bi-pods. And if you're going for that "Money Shot" at 700 yards to help keep your family feed the old fashion way, then I'd recommend this. With all metal construction you can torque this up to the MLOK 30 lbs, unlike those polymer type which by MLOK's standards indicate that you should not torque those any higher than 15 lbs. Which BTW are great for attaching a "Blacklight" to search for blood trails or a regular flashlight, laser or anything that you are not as critical as a bi-pod mounting system.

Solid sleek mount
Got this to replace a picatinny sling mount for my bipod. This gave a lower profile and a much tighter fit. Excellent choice if you want to shave weight and make a bipod more solid at the same time.Only con; the screws are a bit long so I had to grind one down to avoid rubbing gas block.

Less expensive for a reason but serviceable.
Just arrived and have not mounted. 2 observations. 1) it could be very easy to strip these out if you don't watch. I initially had a cross thread situation started on both nut and bolt assemblies. Be patient and make sure you line it up right and they will go together fine. 2) these bolts do no come pre LocTited. Some of the more expensive brands have a lump of red LocTite already in position on the threads. You will need to add your own. I'll update if there are issues attaching.

Decent accessory, not secret aquirrel approved
Solid part. Threaded fasteners are not best quality but work well enough. Be sure to use quality threadlocker not included. If you are a Delta Force, Green Beret, MARSOC, SEAL, door gunner on the Space Shuttle, Sho nuf Operator, this part probably isn't for you. But let's face it if you're any or all of that, some super secret government agency is paying for your gear anyway. If you're a regular guy long range shooter and don't want to pay what Magpul wants for their stuff, this may be the ticket for you.
