Primelight Premium Quality Tea Light Candles, White Unscented, Pack of 100, 4-5 Hour Burn Time

We just got them. I bought them mainly because of the great reviews and supposedly great customer service! Boy was I disappointed! We put out some luminary bags on our front steps (6 of them) and with a thin layer of sand at the bottom, we put one tealight in each bag. That was 3 nights ago. They looked great at first. But within 2 hours they had all burnt out! There was a lot of wax left in each of them. So we said must have been windy, though it didn't seem like it. So the 2nd night we put all 6 out again using the same process. We decided to try one inside too to see what happened. All 6 outside all burnt out again within 2 hours but the one inside burnt very nicely. So yesterday I called there to see about replacing the 12 that burnt out outside. I believe I talked to someone named Pierre. He told me it was my fault and that Primelight would go broke if they were to replace them for everyone who complained! I told him I was very disappointed because the reviews made it sound as though they would replace them if we found them defective. Again, he said they would go broke if they did that for everyone. I told him I was very disappointed. He said what would I do if I were in his shoes! I said I would replace the ones that hadn't worked if it was me, just so the customer would give good reviews. He said how about if he gave me a coupon for 25% off the next order and I should write a good review on Amazon. I said ok. He said to send him an email about it and I did. I've never heard a word back. I found him to be rude and unhelpful. Just want people to know. If I ever do hear from them, I will amend this review.I heard back from Pierre Morais and he was extremely rude! He told me that the tealights were used outside, which according to him, they were not supposed to be. So the burning out was all my fault. He said I couldn't be trusted to give a good review so he was not about to give e a discount on future ones. I watched the video and there certainly were tealights being used the same way I had used them. They don't burn well when used outside. But as I said before, they do work very nicely when you burn them inside your house. As I said earlier, I did hear from him so I did amend this review.

These tea light candles are seriously the best tea lights that I have purchased. I have only ordered them twice and they have lasted a year and a half! I love my candles and burn them at least once a week and more during the fall/winter months.The burn time is insane! These candles can burn for about 5 hours as long as you leave them burning. I have them last through entire parties and into the night.If you do blow them out before they have burnt out I have found that they do not last as long. I do blow them out at a halfway point sometimes and that works well and gives me a good amount of burning time the next time I light it. However, if I blow them out when I can see the bottom of the candle tin, they tend to not re-light. I have learned how they work and I know how to get the most out of them.They are very much worth the money and last longer than the ones you can find at major chain retail stores. I don't plan on buying another brand, these have sold me!I have recommend them to my family, I love the long-lasting burn time. Great product! A+

Unlike the other customers, I found that about 20% of the wax is always left.. The candles dont burn fully, there is always a thick rim left.. Not a big deal, they are just candles. But I was a little disappointed, since they guaranteed they would burn fully..And then after weeks I decided to write a quite email to them.. They replied quickly, and sent me a new batch.. I haven't received the new batch yet, but they acknowledged that this happens once in a while and were happy to provide me a replacement. I haven't tried the new ones yet, but honestly their quick response made up for it.. I am sure the candles will be great too! If not, I will be sure to come update this review..Buy these tealights, they look better than most others!!

We ordered these tea light candles because all the ones we find in stores locally burn for only 2 hours. We wanted something that would last longer. As soon as we got them, I lighted one and started timing. In reality, mine burned for 3 1/2 hours before all the wax was used up. Although not quite as advertised, this was long enough to make them useful for our holiday and party displays. As others have noted, the burn was a quiet, soft, steady glow. I would buy them again.

Good candles. Superior to another brand available on Amazon that advertises a similar burn time. I've tried both. These have a thicker wick, which seems to make the difference. For me, these tend to burn 3-4 hours, and they do burn to the bottom, unlike the other types I've tried where the wick poops out before the paraffin/wax is even halfway gone. I will buy again. The one improvement I could see would be making the little cups deeper--then I believe we would get to 4-5 hours burn time.

Primelight Premium Tea Light Candles burn longer and hotter than the bargain candles I was trying to use with my oil warmer. I haven't timed them but they definitely burn for several hours and when they go out the wax has all been consumed. I am pleased with this purchase.UPDATE: I decided to try the "jumbo extended 9 hour burn" tea lights, also on Amazon since they claim they burn longer. The flame produced by those "jumbo" candles is about 1/2 the size of the flame produced by the Primelight Premium Quality candles and did not warm the oil sufficiently. Buying those other tea lights for aromatherapy was a waste of money.I will be buying more of these Primelight candles to use for aromatherapy. They burn bright and hot.
