This does work as promised, but for me it actually worked a little too well. It did catch the hair as promised, but it also caught some of my conditioner if I used the creamy kind, and even if I didn't my drain was clogged for most of my shower while using the catcher. It's easy to figure out which part fits with the drain, and the catcher is easy to clean, so no complaints there. The drain holes at the bottom for the water to drain are not sufficient, though, so it feels like every shower is the one where you need to clean your drain afterward.

The build quality of this hair drain catcher is pretty good - the body is constructed of mostly stainless steel and different rubber rings are included in the package to fit different drain sizes.The installation is easy and effortless - choose the correct rubber ring size, put it onto the drain catcher, remove the old drain stopper, and put this in. Everything can be done in less than 5 minutes and it fits my bathtub well.It is able to catch most hairs including short ones. The water flow does get a bit slower but it is expected. Do note that there is no way to block water flow (for bath) with this drain hair catcher so do remember to keep the original drain stopper around for this purpose.

So far so good. It’s not mildewing/molding like the silicone brand does, but the hair is a bit more difficult to remove and I’m not convinced the metal is catching everything. Still, worth the price and I won’t have to replace it every six months.

Bought this for my dad to replace his cheapo strainer that morphed as he cleaned it. This little durable strainer helps him a lot, saving him energy and time. He only needs to clean it every few days with two people using the shower. Will purchase again

The strainer i received IS NOT FOR A SINK. Description states 1" to 1.42" drain. The strainer I got is for a 1.49" to 1.80" drain which will fit a shower drain NOT a bath sink drain. If I bought it for a shower I would probably give it 4 to 5 stars.UPDATE: Seller sent the correct strainer and it fits my sink drain perfectly. Quality item and great seller.

Couldn't use it, looks well made but it hits the brass cross fitting in our tub.

Works great. Much better than the over the drain type we used before.

Does exactly what it is supposed to do compared to other ones I've bought and cleaning it is pretty easy.
