34 amps of cooling madness on my S-10
The bad first:The shroud is unnecessarily wide. The fans are completely sunken into the shroud and I can't imagine this is for any reason other than astetics or bad fan mounting design. I had to raise it up 1/2 in above my radiator to clear my oil cooler lines and it still rubs my trans cooler lines but does fit. It also causes there to be significantly less working room in front of the engine. The shroud should be an inch thinner and the fans should stick out an inch.The good: These fans fixed my overheating problem immediately. The picture shows my truck running under 190 after a 45 min stop and go drive in 104° weather with the A/C on. If your vehicle only overheats at low speeds, your electric fans are underpowered.Other considerations: These pull an estimated 34amps, make sure your charging system can handle it. These are loud! You might be mistaken for an airboat, but it doesn't bother me. These weigh 20lbs, you must have a solid way to attach them. I flipped the top L-brackets upside down and set them in the top radiator channel. Then wired all 4 L-brackets into holes in the top and bottom radiator channels. These are 225 watts a peice, they make 300 watt ones as well which would probably be unnecessary for most applications.

These things flat move some air
Keeping my prostreet car cool even with air on !Cheap fans are junk. Had 1 set a fan motor came apart internally and dead shorted, and only used fo a week !Derale is worth the money so far. Will update if that changes.

Running cooler now
Nice quality. I had to get real creative as i didnt have any room for fans between radiator and blower belt and my current setup just leaked too much air. Was able to attach this to Radiator support and create a seal between it and Radiator. Turn motors around and get enough air flow to keep temp down from 210 to 190 on a 90 degree day.

Fit more than perfect pull lots of air and seem to do what ...
Worked out perfectly for my 65 K10 chevy. Only thing was the mounting even though universal i dont think its that universal. luckily my radiator had mounting tabs i riveted the unit to. Fit more than perfect pull lots of air and seem to do what they are suppose to. only problem i had was the wire colors were switched on one fan so it ran backwards. so i just swapped the leads.

Works perfect in 1968 mustang.
Worked perfect in 1968 mustang with 347CID 430HP using radiator for a 390 shroud fit perfect and fans left clearance for water pump pulley. A/C works better than ever and engine runs at 190 F when it is 100 ambient. I have tried three other fan combinations, this is the best by far
