I've used this type of tool before, but on my latest project car I decided to start using something other than a bunch of self-tapping screws on the sheet metal. This worked out great and allows for a very professional installation of components. I did figure out that if I sprayed a little WD40 on the threaded end it made it a little easier to spin the tool out of the rivnut - which was a little difficult at times if you're not perfectly straight off the nut. This function is one reason I bought the tool, and it's worked perfectly since. I also like that it has various sizes available in both metric and standard, it has come in very handy.

I purchased this to be the solution for a problem. Everything works better than I expected. These number of sizes that come with the tool just makes it even better. I like that the different size mandrels come in color coded storage containers. This made my project easy and the finished appearance made me look like I must be a better craftsman than I really am.

I never thought I would use this as much as I do. It has allowed me to make some of the cleanest installations ever. No more ugly self tapping screws. Helps give a sturdy professional results. Should have got one years ago

Bought rivet nuts first and made my own tool out of some bolts and nuts. Worked ok but not great, was kind of a pain. This tool makes installation easy and does a good job.

How can I get replacement parts the 10/24 installer screw snapped and I would like to buy a replacement

Worth it

Broke during 8th rivnut install out of the box. Its not durable. Paying around 50 bucks for this is a ripoff. Don't wante your time or money
