No Short Cuts To Crown Molding
I've installed the traditional type of molding. In the YouTube videos you watch a happy woman installing this molding rapidly. I wouldn't be so optimistic. I wanted this product to work. I Am not satisfied with the result. I've kept it up for now...Pros.It is fast to install. The corners do come out good.Cons,The seams are unbelievably terrible. No amount of caulking will mitigate them.

If you are on a strict budget, this is for you. You get what you pay for.
It serves a purpose, but by no means should you consider running this stuff through your house. I would consider using this for maybe an office or a small work place. The key here is you have to be on a budget. If you have 90 degree angles, you should have no problem installing this. Very simple. I installed it on textured walls and the tape they supplied works wonderful. If you have odd angles, forget it.You can clearly see where the two parts join and the corners look awful. 3 stars because it has utility; it is easy, it is cheap, but it is very weak appearance.

Will put in all our rooms!
Awesome product. Very easy to apply. Easy to cut and sticks well to walls. Whole process is very easy, but make sure to read instructions first! Took very little time to do and makes room look so much more elegant, even without painting.

Pretty nice
I would have never been able to put crown molding in my kitchen due to buried tile beneath plaster- this made it possible. I have an average size kitchen with a couple of open ends. These were the only catches for me- so I went out and bought a couple of finals at Home Depot to complete the look. Although the seams were passable- I caulked everything and this helped give it a more professional look. The directions were still a little lacking- for example you are supposed to be able to go the website to watch step by step videos but the videos are all missing. There was also not enough double sided tape to finish my particular job so I got some from Staples. To be real- this will take you the better part of a day- especially if you want it to look really good.I would recommend if you want to save some cash and the headaches of a saw and nail gun.

The seams were unbearable
I like:- A single piece actually looks pretty nice up on the wall- VERY easy to install, peel stick and move on- The white it came in looked fine, no paint needed- The 3M tape was very sticky, sticky enough to remove drywall and paint if you decide to removeI dislike:- The pieces are very thin (picture an index card thickness).- The pieces are small (4 feetish) leading to many seems- Seams are extremely visible. They give you small pieces of 2 sided tape to help the pieces sit flush together.... but they are still VERY obvious.- You cannot caulk it to hide seams or gaps between the "molding" and walls. All in all, I ended up hating the look. Thankfully I only installed 4 or so pieces so I didn't ruin too much paint on my walls in the process. I think this product would only look ok if each piece was as long as a wall (12 feet plus in length) to completely eliminate the ugly seams. That doesn't sound too likely since it would be a pain to ship. For about double the price (around $150... still much less than the real thing) I purchased syrofoam molding and have been MUCH happier with it. No seems, no nailing... just an all around better product for not much more.

ugly and a waste of money
This stuff is cheap, ugly and a waste of money. I returned mine for a refund. Either spend the money to buy real crown molding, or go without. This stuff is flimsy plastic, only slightly thicker than paper and looks terrible. They say you can't tell the difference, but you absolutely can. Anyone who has a room/house that is nice enough for crown should buy the real thing, because this stuff will only make you look cheap.

Not horrible depending on where you put it.
I put this up in my home theater. It's the only type of place you will want to since the lights are usually dim or off. It looks ok like that but I wouldn't put it in a living room or high traffic area. The seems are somewhat noticeable with the lights on. The corners aren't the greatest but you can get by with them. The instruction videos don't play on most of the steps. Not hard to figure out though. Took 3 hours for a 25x15 foot room.

What a waste!!!!
The advertisement on this item (that includes the video) was quite misleading regarding its application to the wall and misleading in stating it to have the appearance of standard crown molding elegance. The directions were vague at best. I wasted hard-earned cash in its purchase and in ultimately dumping it in the garbage. I could not in good conscience recommend this product to anyone.
