Review: These Butter Warmers work great! - These Butter Warmers work great! I put minced Garlic in, then the butter (in pats) on top of the Garlic, and oh my, so so tasty. It mostly clarifies the butter on it's own, so about 10 mins before I am ready to server the seafood, I light the candles, and it is ready to go. Each one holds enough for 2 people, but I used 1 for my wife, and one for myself. We had lots of butter left over, so may just use 1 next time. My only knock is the Porcelain cups are quite a bit smaller than the rack that holds them, probably due to the bubble-wrap packaging they come in. It doesn't hurt anything, and they function just fine, but they just fit loose. I store mine in the original box they came in, and re-use the bubble-wrap to protect them. Very nice product, and works exactly as advertised. Very pleased with my purchase! Review: Nice for a crab dinner - I bought these along with the Norpor 1527 Shanghai Crab scissors for a dinner party that I was having with friends. The crab scissors are wonderful and having these cute butter warmers to keep the butter melted was great. I know that someone had said that the previous warmer candles included with these were not in the little metal "tins" and were hard to get clean once the candles were lite. Well, someone listened and they now come with the candles in the metal tins and clean up was a breeze. They kept the butter warm throuhgout the dinner but one note, you do have to watch if the butter gets a bit low so it doesn't burn. Would definately recommend to anyone needing melted butter kept warm. :) ## Features - BUTTER WARMER FONDUE SET: These butter warmers hold up to 5 ounces of your favorite dip & are the perfect size for individual servings of butter. It's large enough for several pats of butter. **Q: Could you use these stands without the ramekin to set a small cast iron skillet to keep cheese dip melted and warm?** A: I wouldn't trust them for that purpose. Not intended for use as a stand. Plus the candle would be to far away to warm the skillet. **Q: do they sell replacement ceramic cups for clumsy people like me?** A: I doubt it. But you should be able to find a cup that will fit at a home goods store **Q: Never used something like this before. I get that it would keep something warm), but would it be enough to melt (and then warm pats of cold butter?** A: It will melt cold butter and keep it warm and liquid to the rim. I use the cheap votive candles at $0.10 each. Great for crab feeds. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ These Butter Warmers work great! *by R***. on March 16, 2017* These Butter Warmers work great! Warm each cup with butter in microwave for 30 secs. Put cup in holder. Light candle. Keeps butter at exactly the right temperature for dipping your lobster and snow crab. Metal supports are contoured inward to mesh up perfectly with your dinner plate, allowing any drips to fall on your plate rather than your table. Tea lamp candles are cheap and easy to replace - something like sixteen cents each. It's a solid buy. ## Frequently Bought Together - Prepworks by Progressive Ceramic Butter Warmer Fondue Set - Hiware 20-piece Seafood Tools Set includes 6 Crab Crackers, 6 Lobster Shellers, 6 Crab Leg Forks/Picks and 2 Seafood Scissors & Storage Bag - Nut Cracker Set --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/1263722-by-progressive-ceramic-butter-warmer-fondue-set](https://www.desertcart.be/products/1263722-by-progressive-ceramic-butter-warmer-fondue-set) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-31*
