It works great and looks really great! Just beware that the slot for the ring is pretty tiny so keep that in mind if you plan on having a bigger ring placed inside of it. Sadly it didn't fit the ring I gifted to my boyfriend but I'm sure that I'll try to use it at some point in the future.

Cute, but doesn't hold a larger ring easily.
Cute box, and as described. However, if it's a larger size ring, it does not he very well. I wear a 7 and my ring popped out of it. I used it for a ring surprise for my 11 year old daughter and she thought it was super cute.
