Great first printer, easy to set up and use
This is 99.9% built right out of the box. You only need to attach the filament holder roll which requires zero tools to complete. So.. it can be ready to print in a matter of minutes! This is a PLA only printer but that's the most common filament available. It uses 1.75mm diameter and can hold a full sized spool on the side. The print size is120x135x100mm, so not massive but not that bad either. The first thing you need to do is level the bed which is done via the LCD menu. You just select it and you then adjust the four corner screws until you can just move a bit of standard plain paper underneath. Once you have completed each corner you are then ready to print. You load / unload the filament via the menu on the LCD, it's really easy and it tells you what to do. I've done about 100 hours printing now on mine and the results have been great. I really didn't expect much from a printer as cheap as this but I've been very surprised. I think this would make a great first printer to see if it's something that you would like doing. With all printers you do have a bit of a learning curve but there are plenty of videos now online showing you what your 1st print layer should look like and how to adjust it.Make sure you use the included glue on the bed, just a fine smear you need and I just went over the bed from left to right and back doing this. The bed size is a bit deceiving as it stretches out further at the back than you can print on, so no point putting the glue on that be and wasting it.The build quality is really good, I took the bottom off mine to see if everything was wired and earthed correctly. I'm pleased to say it was and noticed it had a meanwell power supply in it which is one of the better ones. Not disappointed at all, if you just want to print and are not into building one up like most printers around this price then this might just be the printer for you.I hope this review has been helpful, please click yes if it has :-) Thanks Steve

Good first printer
I have this as my fist printer. It is a great first printer to buy as it comes fully assembled and ready to use straight away. As a absolute beginner I was able to get the basics of how they work and what to do. ALTHOUGH after a month of using it it started to break. I dont know if mine was just faulty or this is a common thing. Since then I have gotten it taken it back and have purchased the ender 3 pro which is a big step up. I highly recommend the steadytech mini as a first printer.
