Hermle70504-000701 Antique Style Wall Clock with Skeleton Movement and Strikes on The Hour

I highly recommend this item. I'm a bit of a clock collector and just love the look and basic functionality of this clock. The clock is extremely well made, is very accurate (now), and is very satisfying to watch in action. The chime on the hour is beautiful and very delicate. As a side note on accuracy: the clock was fairly accurate out of the box, but I have been adjusting daily referencing on an atomic clock I have in the house, and now, the clock is accurate to within a few seconds per day. Incredible accuracy.

I bought this as a gift. The recipient, an engineer loves it. Very accurate time keeping. Has a great industrial style. Bell has a nice ring not too loud. Came well packaged in fine condition. One word of warning, there are instructions on how to unpack the clock so as not to damage it. Great mechanical clock. Unique.

I love the look and it's been running perfectly for about 6 months now. With a little patience in adjusting the pendulum, this clock can be made incredible accurate! Be aware that in order to give the weight sufficient room to drop for 8 days of running, the clock needs to be mounted quite high on the wall. At least 6 feet. Or just mount it lower and raise the weight more frequently. Great quality. One critique: the Tempus Fugit sticker looks cheap. They should either improve it or leave it off!

Ease of installation.

Stylish, easily hung, pleasant hourly chime and ticking sound from a genuine mechanical clock.If you find your clock running slow or fast try adjusting the little nob on the pendulum. Youtube it.The chime can made to be louder or softer by adjusting the bell. Really nice clock overall.

I often recall when I visited my Grandmother I was mesmerized by her grandfather clock. I wanted one but cant afford to pay 19,000 for a clock -so I bought this one. Shipping was quick and so was the setup. I love watching the movement and hope I have years of service with it- If you buy this unit, you wont regret, plus its made in Germany as well
