As such, National Socialism figures prominently in this work, as it should, despite what one reviewer said to the contrary. While its a slow start it certainly captures the imagination with the amount of lore shoved in one book. Certainly more dedication is needed for the adherents of the armanen tradition to understand the runes.Those who are interested, I would highly recommend Aelfric Avery. He expounds on their work in elaborate detail within 3 volumes.The authors of the 55 club build on top of previous runic masters & they leave the best for last Serrano who takes up maybe 1/4 of the book alone. In the beginning of the book they include the Havamal where List got the idea that the runes were hidden in the last 18 lines of the high song.Perhaps my favorite bit is the table room talk of all 12 "knights" of the round table (black sun/zodiac) discussing their ideas together. I have compiled this conversation into 10 slides in my attachment.

Great source of historical insight regarding Rune interpretations. Could have used a little more editing, but the trove of hard to find essays and writings makes the book indispensable. If you are interested in the occult history of the Runes, and how their various revivals were expressed, read this.

Many sources of information put together in one book. I opened this up and wondered why it took me so long to buy this. If you have any interest in the Armanen Futhark, this is worth getting.
