Great Price, Great Weight, Great Warmth
This is my first "puffy" coat and I only have two regrets: 1. I didn't buy one last year; and 2. Why did I wait until winter was almost over this year? This down jacket is light, warm, and worth a 4.99 rating. I knocked off a .01 because of the small front zipper: it works fine, but a larger one would make the coat perfect. At 5'11" and 184 lbs, the large was too tight under the arms but the XL fits perfectly. Haven't tried it in rain/sleet conditions yet, but so far in the low teens to mid-30's range , in a strong wind, it has performed at advertised. Glad I got it. As usual with the company with best customer service in the world, the return of the first coat was fast and painless.

Warm lightweight jacket!
A coworker had this jacket so I tried theirs on and I liked it so much I ordered one for myself. Came quickly ! No inside pocket which is unusual. But it’s warm and very light . I wore it on a breezy 30 degree day with just a long sleeve shirt under it. And it was warm . Nice hood as well . A tad longer than waist length but not quite 3 quarters long. A lot lighter than my other snorkel bomber fits easily into my packed closet . Great buy !

Comfortable and warm
Excellent down jacket. It's one of the nicest and most comfortable I've owned and it packs easily at the bottom of day bag. Very warm.

Seems okay
..as of yet. We got this and it is warm, cozy and fits well. We compared it with other brands and frankly, this one sits just right, the cut is perfect and the warmth is good. There are okay pockets and quite puffed up (not bulky) cover yet not too heavy. However it is not one of those ultra light jackets though we found it just the right combination of lightweight and warm. It is water resistant. Howeve I would have liked a bit more features on it for the price we paid. Still a good jacket and much better than Marmot or Patagonia which are way more expensive.

I love it!
I purchased two different jackets in order to compare and see which I liked better. I ordered this one and the Marmot Tullus Hooded jacket. I liked this one better. I was very impressed with it when I first opened it and tried it on (after reading some of these reviews, you never quite know what you’ll get with such varying opinions). But I must say I’m VERY pleased. If feels well made, is very comfortable, and looks great. I’m 6’2” and weigh just under 200 lbs. I usually wear a size Large, but sometimes I wear XL depending on the brand and style. I ordered the L and it fits great! The sleeves are just right, plenty of room for under-layers, but not baggy at all.The two jackets, both size L, are very similar in look, fit, and feel. This one Is slightly heavier I’d say (it’s got more down), and is a bit roomier. It also has some extra details that the Marmot lacked, like a draw string around the bottom (the marmot just has elastic), and soft lining in the pockets. I’m sending the Marmot back. It was more expensive and I couldn’t see why.My only gripe would be the “packable” design. The jacket is supposed to stuff and zip-up in its own pocket. What a joke! Despite considerable effort, I could NOT get that thing to fit in the designated pocket. No chance. So I guess I’ll have to buy a third party stuff-sack for it if I ever want pack it for hikes or backpacking trips.Regardless, the jacket is well worth the money.

Keeps me warm and dry in cold weather!
I love this Downlight jacket! It performs well in below 16 degrees,Fahrenheit weather, keeping me warm birdwatching for 2 hours sitting still, with a t-shirt and one thin layer underneath.. When hiking fast in 20 degree weather I did sweat quit a bit, and had to open up for ventilation. Of note, when I stopped and sat for about 2hours, again, birdwatching ,I stayed warm, even though I was a little damp with sweat! In warmer weather, with rain, I found it started wetting. I did not feel the wetness through to my bare arms underneath, though, and still felt warm. Looks like the special water resistant down works!I love the ferm green color, however, I might suggest buying a darker color, as it stains easy. But really, I'm looking to stay warm, not win a fashion show! Great buy!

LOVE IT!!!!
A nice down hooded jacket for a great price! While I live in Arizona, it REALLY does get cold in the winter in the higher elevations! If you're hiking/camping you'll need something warm and light - this jacket does the trick! I've been out in the woods with blowing wind and temps in the teens and this kept me warm.Super comfortable, easy to hike in with a nice chest zipper pocket for your phone, etc. While die-hards will say "It's not light enough", for the other 99% of us, this jacket will fit the bill.

Less Loft and Different Fit
Two years ago I bought this jacket and just loved it so decided to buy a second one but of a different color. The one that I just received is a real disappointment. My biggest complaint is that it does not have the same amount of insulation as my first one. There is a noticeable difference and my wife agrees. All of the tags and markings are the same, but it just does not have the same loft. Also, the size seems a bit smaller than my first one. This is a shame as I really like my first jacket and was really looking forward to the second one. I have not removed the tags and am going to try to return this new jacket.
