UPDATE: After posting the review below, the company contacted me and refunded the price of the item. It was very nice of them. The other products I received were great-- can't beat the price-- and I use them every day in the office. This on-- the free one-- has a base that is too small to function as an actual paperweight, but it looks nice displayed on a shelf, so I have no reason to complain. See the post below for my initial review-- I have upgraded the stars from two to four because of the company's customer service and because the other products I received were nice.==============I ordered three of these paperweights. I was pretty excited. Glass art can be very expensive, so the price is very reasonable. The pieces look nice; they are colorful and detailed. Some minor imperfections, but that is expected with handmade glass.This particular one does not function well as a paperweight, however. The flattened bottom on this one is so small (less than one inch diameter) that it often rolls off of the stack of papers. As heavy as the thing is, you don't want this thing just rolling around loose on your desk. I bought these things to be functional AND to look nice on my desk. They look nice, don't get me wrong, but I actually need these things to function. If you're buying these things to display, you will probably be impressed. But if you're buying it for function, stay away from the spherical models and go for the squatty models with a lower center of gravity and a larger flattened base.The other two that I ordered seem to function fine, but they were a different (squatty) style. I will review them separately. I note, though, the other spherical one I ordered ( Murano Hand Blown Glass Art Crystal Rainbow Paperweight PP-0146 ) has a larger flattened bottom portion, but is is less spherical (round) and more elliptical (egg-shaped), so it is a bit top heavy and is less functional than the third one I ordered ( Murano Design Mouth Blown Flame Rainbow Ex Large Size Millefiori Art Glass Paperweight PW-1116 ), which is pretty sweet!!

This is a beautiful paperweight indeed. However, I'm very skeptical if it's actually an authentic Murano glass. Most Murano glass products usually come with a certificate of authenticity. Yes, these paper weights came with a sticker which reads "Murano - Made In Italy." But these can be counterfeited. The bottom flat side of an authentic Murano paperweight is polished to a shine, while these have a "blurred" surface to them.Overall, these are beautiful paperweights, however I question the authenticity of it being an authentic Murano glass.

The waves of color are simply amazing. This too has the Murano label and a very slight imperfection in that it is tilted to one side but a fraction of the cost if it were completely perfect in its globe shape. The seller is a very nice person and eager to please and will try to find you exactly what you want if you contact him. He is a great seller and a great person to deal with. I love his items and am sure to purchase more. The price is right and so is the product. Can't ask for more.

This is the second Murano paper weight purchased from this merchant. Very pleased with again! There is depth ...a very interesting array of colors! Will order from this vendor again!

Received this paperweight today. It is "Awesome." Definitely more beautiful than the picture. Ordered three different ones and this one is my favorite. By the way, Tripact Inc. is an excellent company to work with.

Odd shape.

Cool design which you need to see in person to truly appreciate. For just under $20 it really is a great value. I know that one reviewer was disappointed in this as a paperweight, but these are really display pieces.

This is a BEAUTIFUL paperweight! Having been a collector for many years, this is now one of my favorites. Full of color and swirls, really a nice addition to anyone's collection!
