Most reviews are about the mini version. My review is about the very large white TP-740... and it is very large... a full size projector. There is nothing mini about the TP-740. It seems to be a good projector with a nice bright image. I have only used it twice and so far I like it except for the size. It is not heavy but it is big. Speakers are clear and can be very loud. Focus is easy and works well for a nice sharp image with accurate color. Even on a tan, textured, slanted ceiling, the image is very good... On a screen, it is quite amazing for 100 watts. In a dark room, projected on a screen, the image is as good as an LCD, except with small text, but fine for closed caption wording. In a dimly lit room, the image is viewable for movies, youtube, etc. It needs nearly complete darkness for reading small text like email... on a screen and then it is not very good. It has lots of inputs, and an excellent remote. It does not have a center adjustment leg for height or angle, nor does it have a tripod mount. It has a thick power cord. The fan is quite loud, but not as loud as a DLP bulb projector. The unit gets warm, but not hot. I will update this review if I have problems with it. So far, so good and worth the $$.

Purchased last year for outdoor movies based on the reviews and pricing. It has a decent picture and the built in speakers are fine as well. The issue is that it has always had a popping noise and light flicker that has only gotten worse making it incredibly distracting to try to watch a movie. We haven't used it very much, perhaps 5 times, so I am highly disappointed in the unit. Lucky for everyone that it is no longer available. You get what you pay for. I have a theory that it is the HDMI 1 port causing the issue and if the HDMI 2 port worked that would be a solution. Unfortunately my BluRay player only supports HDMI so I can't use any of the other input ports. I was hoping to find warranty contact information since supposedly it's still covered as it has been under a year since I bought it. I'm not confident I will get any help here. I've noticed other bad reviews got a response for someone saying "contact us" without any contact information. There is a warranty card that came with it in Chinese on one side and English on the other. I'm wondering if the contact info is only on the Chinese side? Fishy.

Pretty awesome for the money. I already owned a cheap gamer's projector (which also turned out to be getting what i paid for) and was looking for an affordable nice step up. surprising picture at 60" for a projector. Have already blown it up a bit on another wall to try it out and it will go pretty close to the 250" picture it boasts. It's not the best out there but for about $200 all my friends agree it was a really worthy deal. The 2 day shipping arrived early on the 2nd day as promised as well. There are few stepups from this model as far as range of lumens and focus, so unless you wish to spend 500+ on it, this $200ish model is ballin' ona budget hehe

The USB allows you to play movie directly from the UBS drive but the screen is only very small in the middle. There is no way to make it full screen! The fan is so loud! I purchased this myself with my own money, not from a demo-for-good-review like the other review here. Very misleading!You CANNOT focus every area correctly. When focusing, it only focus a certain part of the screen so you have to chose most likely the middle but then the edges will be blurry.I would NOT recommend this product to anyone, except ofcourse if you receive the item for FREE and asked to make a good review like everyone else here with 5 star.

This is a very nice projector for the money the quality is pretty good sounds pretty good as well and it's not to heavy. I watch mines on a bagel, painted wall and it looks wonderful the gaming experience is out of this world up close and personal.

Super quality for the price. I use it for outdoor viewing at dark and wonderful picture that is 20 feet wide. A little unfocused at the bottom at that size but only noticeable if there are subtitles you have to read. If you used it inside I've got it at approximately 80 inches and it is HD quality. Very glad I bought this projector.

Works really well. Projected it on a large screen and watched boxing outside on the lawn. Wish you could adjust the legs to move up.
