I don't know much about rifle scopes, but this particular scope is as clear as a bell. I put it on an old Ruger 10/22 with a Leupold Rifleman Ruger 1022 base and Leupold Rifleman medium Rings #55860. IMO this scope is on a par with a Weaver Classic Rimfire 2.5-7X28 scope that I also own. It looks like this Redfield scope has been discontinued but it still has a lifetime warranty.

Bought this for a young hunter to mount on cva slug gun.Having owned many super high end optics I can only say that I was very impressedwith the quality of this scope.Very clear glass andsmooth but firm power ring.Very nice scope.

mounted this on a browning 7-08 lever action..perfect..lens are crisp and bright..turrets have a quality tactical click and feel about them..i'm truly surprised at the level of quality for the price..i will own more of these !!

Very impressive for the $99 I paid for it. Paired with an Aero Precision lightweight mount gave me a great setup for my AR.
