Did the job
We have about a 12' span and this unit is doing the job. Never spent the time to fine tune it to auto stop. Need to keep the hanging area clear as this unit does not have much power.

it's hard to install
It's hard to install if the curtain will be on the 2nd floor level. Think it again before you place your order since you will pay the shipping fee with tax charged (about $25)... if you need to return it later, then you paid $25 for nothing. But if you buy a simple rod, maybe that is what you need to pay.

Good system, very high value for $
Purchased and installed two of these in last few months.Watch youtube installation video ... it helps.Installation is not difficult at all, just take your time.Work very well.Good Value.In past, I had purchased SOMFY curtain rodThese are much less expensive.For ComparisonMETech is much less expensive than SOMFYSOMFY is much quieter in operation, the METech is not Loud.... but it is louder than the SOMFY If you have background music playing Low level, you won't even hear the SOMFY if you were 5 feet away.. but you could probably hear the METech if you were within 10 feet..METech curtain rod has assembly required by purchaser... SOMFY came assembled, and ready to hangMETech is custom length that you determine after you get it. (You trim the rod to fit), SOMFY is pre-assembled, you provide the measurement at time of order, and it comes at that length.All in all, I like them both, but the METech expense is on a scale where I can justify automating several of the draperies in the house.. where the cost of a SOMFY system would not have allowed me to do it.

awesome! easy assembly. easy to understand instruction. I have a little problem keeping the close stop in adjustment

very disappointed.
Remotes have to be pointed directly at seonsor on blind and no more than 10' away. Usually have to hit button several times to get them to operate, then point them at the next one and repeat the process. I bought 9 of them and very disappointed with all of them. For the amount of effort to get remote to work it would be easier to just have manual ones. I have electric blinds in another house and one push of the button and all blinds operate. Definantly lots better ones on the market

heir products work . they walk me thru the installation. so easy did not need a contractor.

Bad quality
Bad quality! The motor isn't strong enough, ordered 3 and barely could pull the drape.

Effective once saw cuts cleaned off
Track comes in multiples of 1m aluminum extrusion. The ends were sawn and had burrs which needed to be cleaned and filed before assembly. The coupling brackets are loose and I had to glue them with epoxy to get them to stay in place.Other than that the track works well, it's discrete and it's worked well with our heavy line blackout curtains
