Buy it, because nothing else is better, it still sucks though.
Okay, let me start out positive with the things I like. Visually this is a nice porch light, the camera is not noticeable to the average passerby, and the lights it comes with are LED and shine like the sun. On the subject of the actual camera, it's a fish eye with a wide range, and is 1080p for a security camera. Which means in real life it's a low quality 720p camera, but it takes good image and solid video with a small file size. So really, pretty dang impressive piece of hardware all in all.Pretty lame you cannot replace the 32gb SD card with something larger. I may one day crack it open and try once I start to hate this thing more than I already do, and/or I find a replacement that is less terrible.AAAAAnnnnnd onto the software. The only nice thing I can say is the little trick with the QR codes actually worked pretty well for me. However once you're into the software, the glaring issues appear. My chief complaints are as follows. Motion detection only has 3 settings. Essentially off (low) default (hair trigger) and high (always on). You can only download one video at a time, and it takes a second despite them only being 2mb in size (20s per file). So if say... you're trying to download a few hours of video to review to find who stole your damn package, good luck! Being able to select a large download, have it automatically create a zip file, and be able to send that large file to a PC to review would be soooooo amazing.Oh and speaking of which. Why no PC support? Or better yet, why not allow a LAN connection so people could connect it to their own software, like the free software known as iSpy? Which no offense is superior in every way. I could set up a Pi with that and a 256gb SD card and have a way hell of a better setup with much easier means to review footage. Plus I could integrate this unit with cameras I have from other companies easily. It's sad that this company decided to not include a LAN connection, but honestly what's really sad is NONE of them have. RING doesn't either, and most other cameras use shit apps, but could connect to honest to god good software if they'd just let it happen.LAN connectivity would change this to an instant 5 star review. If I could bypass the crappy App altogether and just use a PC this would be the greatest camera of all time. Instead honestly I barely even like it. I just can't get a Ring because living in a condo sucks. But I can replace my outside light.... and this one is the least poo of a bunch of poo products in all honesty.

Great quality. Easy to install and use. But NOT a real night vision infrared camera.
This camera does exactly everything as advertised EXCEPT the night vision. It did not state about the night vision in the description but it did list the night vision capability in one of the pictures. This camera is not a real night vision infrared light camera. It uses its led light at night for image capture or recording. The camera is in great quality. It comes with installation hardware, led light bulb, a cat 5 cable, and manual. I use my smart phone to scan the QR code on the box to download the app which provides clear step-by-step set up instructions. I connect it with my home Wifi but it can also connect with wired network cable for data. The app is easy to navigate and fast. The image is very clear in 1080p. The light fixture does have a open bottom and insects could get in but I installed it under a covered patio area which is not directly exposed to the elements. So far, it works flawlessly.

Tepoinn Outdoor Security light lamp camera
So I’m very upset that I have no security and Amazon is not taking any responsibility for their bad vendors. This is the third product that I have purchased from Amazon and had their vendor flake out on their products. I buy a lot of things from Amazon and if their not going to take care of their customers then I quest it’s time to go some where else. Very Disappointed. I bought two of these security light cameras and I’m very sorry that I did. They go off all the time when they work. Your can never see the recording of what’s going on. I have sent 5 emails about the problems I have been having with these lights always needing to be reloaded and will not reload. Have to restart over and over to hopefully it will start working again. Never can get to the recordings because it’s always data fail. Do not waste your money. The supplier or who ever they are do not can.I’m adding to my review because now there’s now app for the security light system. Their no longer selling their products on Amazon

DO NOT BUY - Waste of Money if you have Xfinity for Wi-Fi Service
Bought these for my daughter's townhome 8/3/19. She has neighbors who think anything on her patio is free for anyone to take (aka - thieves). Saw these at Costco but by the time we went to get them the lights were no longer available. I searched hard and deep for these lights. BAD BAD BAD. We didn't get to install them within 30 days of purchase, so they sat beyond the return window of 9/3/19. My husband installed these last week (12/11/19) and my daughter couldn't get them to connect to the Wi-Fi. You cannot even use them as just lights without setting up the Wi-Fi. Xfinity XFi doesn't allow you to setup the DHCP parameter for your own home network. If you have another internet provider like CenturyLink - they "should" work. Personally, we won't use CenturyLink because the technology is way behind for our needs. Therefore, the lights are similar to an old analog TV. Who wants an analog TV in a digital world???!!! My recommendation - JUST DO NOT BUY....

Worked for 90 days
This light worked okay, while it worked. After three months, it now blinks randomly, makes intermittent noises, and won't reconnect to WiFi. So I can't use it as a security cameras or a light. :(Pros:- Easy to install- Clear imageCons:- Recorded clips have to be downloaded to view. This makes it very hard to review video.- Light is not aligned with mount, so it looks crooked.- Stopped working after 3 months.

Very good outdoor light!
This is a very good outdoor light. The motion detection is good and it was a good price for the quality. I had an electrician install it. I had an old light there so we just replaced it. It does not work with Alexa. The skill that Alexa uses does not work at all. They came very well packaged and it’s in very good condition.

Don't buy
You are better off buying a regular lamp with a wifi bulb. This camera works fine when it works but I've already had to reset it three times in a two months period and have suffered through several days when I've been away from the camera and unable to connect or use it. Not a good product.
