White Towel Rack

I bought this towel/wine rack against the fact that some said you needed tea towels to be able to use it as a towel rack. Our house lacks storage so we needed any idea to get our towels out of the closet in the hall and this seemed like the best option. Easy to install though it took me a few minutes to find the hardware, but it was at least included. You don't need to have tea towel sized towels for this thing to work. The nice towels from target work just fine. Perhaps some do not roll towels as tight as I do, and towels do fit snugly, but they were no harder to get in than snapping a button into place. To get them out slide them out sideways. Or do so even to get them in really. I found the best way to roll them is: (let's go back to kindergarten for a second) take your towel fold in half hot dog fold. Fold in half hamburger fold. Have the creased edge away from you and roll tightly. Congratulations you have successfully rolled a towel that should fit in this towel rack.

Over the summer of 2013, we took one of the bedrooms in our house and converted it into a mega-bathroom. Funny how a room that is too small for a bedroom becomes vast when repurposed. I ordered this towel rack as a finishing touch; my bride had said that she wanted a towel rack and then kind of forgot that she said it. So, it became a unique Christmas surprise. I don't know how much I can say about a towel rack, but this one is made of rugged metal and accents the bathroom beautifully. It was easy enough for an old plugger like me to hang on the wall, and was thus an overall satisfying purchase.

Received early and like the quality. As another reviewer noted, the white is really more flecked cream, but that works for me. I have big, new towels, and they roll up and fit tightly, but they fit. I sort of roll them out to remove them. The only trouble I had was with the hanging hardware they sent. It did not work well in my drywall. I'd suggest getting the drill-in plastic/screws for drywall instead. I ended up having to patch the original holes and start over, but the drill-in hardware worked like a charm.

Looks great! Very sturdy--would have given 5 stars but description says white towel rack and I would say it's probably more off white and speckled. But that matched great for me!

The product is very sturdy and looks like it will work fine as a towel rack. Just have to roll your towels in such a way so they fit. But it's not white, as described. Even the close up view of this product does not show the dark grey speckled paint job over the cream colored rack. Grey speckles over cream color is not white. Very disappointing.

The photo appears to hold towels comfortably, however, the spacing between the rungs is not sufficient to hold my towels. I can only place towels on every other rung because of the tight fit, so not working for me the way I had envisioned.

Didn't even get it fully unwrapped and noticed their is NO WAY my towels are fitting in this...nice idea but not wide enough like the last reviewer said unless ur using kitchen towels, not gonna work!...Should have read the reviews before buying...plus the white is more like speckled off white!

Unless your bath towels are the size of kitchen towels, you'll never be able to fit them in the slots. My towels have to be rolled and pushed in order to fit. It's way too heavy and cumbersome to return, so I guess I'll use it for wine bottles.
