Q: Does it matter how much of a lift you have? i know that they are adjustable... so i'm kind of being captain obvious i just want to make sure...

I would say up to a 4" lift is ok. Anything higher than that, you'll want to go with a long-arm kit. I have these on a 4" lift, and the ride is pretty rough because of the suspension geometry (any short-arm control arms on that tall of a lift are going to be rough).

Q: I added a 3.5 inch lift to my jku and now the back tire is to close to frame. Will this correct it?

You will need both upper and lower adjustable control arms to move the axel back to its original position.
