Unfortunately, as much as we love this product, I cannot reccomend it for anyone wanting to use it for warm meals. We figured that it would be perfect for soups/stews as well as other warm meals that don't nessecarily need a leakproof container, however, a suction is created when warm food is inside and my daughter (5 years old) cannot open it for lunch. Her teachers, lunch staff and even the janitor fought with it multiple times and ended up having to eventually break it open. Very sad it can't work for our family. I wish this wasn't an issue with this product however it would be great if all you needed was a container for cold foods.

I love this lunch box, I have made several orders to Colombia and they are always in perfect condition, fast delivery, I recommend.

The size to fit food into is way to small. Plus sometimes it suctions too hard and my daughter can’t open it.

Needed something to send food in for my toddler. 4 stars because it can be difficult to open- seems to suction itself shut. She won’t be able to open it herself but that’s fine for us. Love the rubber nonslip edges on the outside, definitely leak proof and having 5 sections to sort out food is perfect. Also used it to make a snack box for an airplane ride, worked great.

Bought this for my 5yr old for school lunches. It was great at first and she loves it but after a couple months we noticed it was really difficult to close. Even adults were having a hard time closing it and lining it up.My daughter wouldn't be able to close it while at school and her the remnants of her lunch would be spilled all over her bag by the time she got home.

I really enjoyed this product. I did a test run with it at my house. I wanted to see if it would leak. It didn’t. I’m happy to say that my four year old will enjoy this for her upcoming school year. She does have a bit of a hard time closing it but with in time I know she will get better.

So far so good. We have had this for almost 2 months, hasn't broken yet, which is an improvement over other bento boxes.My daughter is 3 but somehow a 1 foot drop inside her backpack has been enough to break 2 bento boxes.Thus far this one is holding up.

Either we don’t know how to close this properly, or ours is set up incorrectly. In order to get a good seal, we have to put the top of the outer shell on first, then swing the bottom around, then snap close. It’s a struggle to close, if we have the inner box sitting in the bottom and attempt to close the top onto it. No way our child will be able to close this in school.
