Blocks the sun but you may need to macgyver the suction cups
This really is worth having to block the sun if you have a rear facing carseat. It has a universal fit. It fits the windsheild in our Nissan Altima and Buick Century well with maybe a few inches on either side that remain uncovered. You can see out of it as good as any sunshade (obviously it is going to be a little harder to see) and it does block the sun well. The downside is the suction cups. Suction cups are a pain in general but in this case they came packaged all bent out of shape and I could not seem to get them to retain their original shape even after soaking in warm water. The cups that were not distorted did stick well but the bent cups did not. So I decided not to even deal with suction cups and just attached two 3m hooks to the top of the window and hooked the rings on the backside of the suction cups to the hooks and let the bottom rest on the seat back. The company should either package the cups better or lower the price as I do feel this is overpriced if the suction cups are not going to be in usable condition.

Decent shade for my son
So at first I had a lot of trouble getting the suction cups to stick on, they would fall off in 5 mins - 1 hour after sticking. However I stuck them on about 2 weeks ago with just a bit of Silva on the cups and they have stayed on since then. When I received the shade one of the cups was terribly bent up but I just dropped it in hot water (not boiling but microwaved for 1 minute) for ~ 30 seconds then pulled it out and stuck it on the window to reform itIt doesn't fully cover the read window of my 2009 Hyundai Elantra but it keeps most of the sun of my son's face and does a better job than me driving with newspaper or something in front of himOverall it is currently working for me, I'm not thrilled with it but I don't want to return it

Does a great job
I bought this for one car and ended up using it in another. Way too big for the back window of the Prius (I really should have done a better job checking the relevant sizes) but fit perfectly in back window of the Acura MDX. We needed a shade to provide our dogs with some additional protection from the direct sun when we travel with them. It works perfectly for this task. I have had no trouble whatsoever with the rubber suction cups sticking. In fact they have not come off in the several weeks since I originally installed the shade. The shade has minimal impact on my ability to see through the rear window so I rate these as very good for what they are intended to do at an affordable price.

Ot's ok, but there is nothing that makes it stand out from all the others.
In my opinion this shade is no different than the others I've seen. I seriously suspect they all come from the same source. The material particularly does not seem to be any thicker than the others. The packaging causes some of the suction cups to be folder and some work is required to wet them in warm water to stick them to something flat and clean in the house (e. g. a shower door) before expecting them to stick to the rear window of your car. I estimate that it is blocking maybe as much as 40% of the sunlight. Really not very effective.

Works great (make sure it fits before you buy it!)
I've had it since last summer and my family, and baby especially, love it. The main reason to buy it was because baby was rear facing and the window tinting was not enough. This sun shade did the trick. Suction cups stay in place, unless you accidentally hit them hard.A piece of advice: make sure it fits your rear window BEFORE you buy it. It fit my first car perfectly but I forgot to measure my second car so it was a couple inches bigger. I still made it work.

Suction cups don't work
The suction cups would not stick at all. I tried it on a Kia Rio. I cleaned the window repeatedly. It did not help. There is a slight gap where the top of my car and the window meet. I pushed the shade into the gap and it is light enough it stayed in place. I can see through the mesh just fine. It isn't too dark. Though, I am extremely disappointed the suction cups don't work at all....Not even for a minute.

Just ok
A decent sunshade. It does a good job of blocking the sun and it was a great size for my 2007 Ford Fusion. I got the suction cups to stick right away and they remained attached for a week. Then my son pulled off one of them and I could not get it to stick permanently again. Then the other 4 cups would fail and I always had one or two corners dangling. Very frustrating. If you can get the cups to stick, this is a decent shade. The view out of the back through the shade is blurry. However, you can easily cars behind you, so I never felt unsafe.

Shade for baby
I was so excited to know that there were shades out there to put on the back windows of cars without having to pay for the expense of tinting my windows. I recieved the shade in a timely manner. For whatever reason, I thought the shade would be darker. I guess it can't be. Baby girl still squinted when the sun hits the shade. So though it might block some of the rays but it could be a little darker.
