works well to remove spots but it leaves scratchy marks. about the same as a set of scotchbrite pads if you ask me

Tried valve grinding compound, messy and inconsistent pattern. Used Cratex in mold shop for polishing was worth the wait to get finish I wanted.

Using to do "engine turning" on stainless steel so far so good.It is necessary to continue to 'clean' the tip regularly for the best result.

I used it in my CNC mill to do engine turning on aluminum. Turned out great

works great for deburring threads and sharp corners on lathe

I believe these are used to polish electrical contacts but i have been using them to machining for years.there are different colors for different grit abrasives.start with 600 this is more of a finish polish but will still remove material.they last a long time, you can use a pedestal grinder to clean or shape them
