Decent if you don't want to have to pay for a piano tuner.
I got a 1920s piano from Facebook for free, that desperately needed to be tuned. So I decided to buy a cheap piano tuning kit to see if I could do it myself, instead of spending hundreds of dollars on a piano tuner.Obviously, my expectations weren't very high, for the price, but I'm pleasantly surprised by all this kit comes with. It comes with 6 rubber mutes - two with the wire handles, a tuning fork, the wrench and the felt ribbon mute. I like that it comes with the felt ribbon mute as that's a huge time saver when it comes to tuning a piano. The two downsides to the kit are that a.) The wrench does not have a removable head, so getting weird angles are harder to tune with precision. b.) The kit comes with zero instructions. So I had to do a lot of googling to figure out how to properly tune the piano myself. c.) The tuning wrench has a square head, and not a star head. After doing some more research online, while the square head does indeed fit over the prongs, a star head should be used for better precision as well.I personally have no use for the tuning fork, as I use software to tune all of the notes. However, Also, since there are no instructions, it does take a lot of videos/reading on google to figure out how to properly tune a piano. As with anything where professionals get paid a lot of money to do a task - the learning curve is steep. However, for a free piano, I'm not afraid of messing up anything on it, as I'm eventually going to have to restore the entire piano.Just make sure you are up for the task, have a lot of time, and patience if you choose to purchase this kit to tune your piano.

So-called tuning kit
Junk. Especially the tiny tuning fork. Also sent a square wrench instead of star-shaped as advertised.

Need an adjustable wrench for tightening.
Because I have a baby grand, the tool for tightening is not adjustable, and makes tuning difficult.

Awesome buy.
Great seller, quick shipping, tuning fork is spot on, and hardware + dampeners work great.

This tuning kit does the job.
These are all good tools and with the proper technique you can tune any piano into fine condition. Took me about 2 days to finish my first tuning, but I'm glad I know how now and can continue to adjust it as needed.

Piano Part
My husband requested this he felt it was a suitable part for tuning the piano in which I have fixed but it took time to do this.

It won’t last a year.
The tuning hammer broke before I could even finish the piano, I’m 11/12th of the way there.Worth $18 but not very good.
