Our old rolling pin finally bit the dust. I decided to get this one for my husband for Christmas. When he took it out of the package, his jaw dropped. He said this is too beautiful to use. I told him absolutely not, its gonna be used. I put another coat of mineral oil on the rolling pin to prepare it for use, and then my husband said we should hang it on the wall. It looks amazing. Beautiful craftsmanship. Will post again if it doesn't work well, but I'm pretty sure it will :).

I was hesitant to order this product , I used it for the first time yesterday making tortillas, I am in love with this roller ! I’m getting one for my daughter and daughter in law for a special occasion gift now ! Very happy with the beautiful design of it as well ! Easy to clean , easy to use and move around quickly with !Extremely Happy with it !

Solid wood with very pretty inlay. I was a little uncertain about going with this one vs the solid wood, as I was not sure it would be a good inlay job. However, the overall piece is well put together, no gaps, and is finished smooth with a good profile. Gave it a couple coats of butcher block oil and it’s good to go!

well made, looks like it will last long enough to give to my granddaughters, when i have some. my kid is only 13, so that should be a while. Need to be careful to take care of the wood, make sure you oil it well before you use it, and keep it floured, or the dough will stick to the wood.

Got this for my mom for her birthday and she nearly cried opening it. Cooking is her passion and she is in love with this roller. The coloring on the wood is beautiful, the segments are joined perfectly, it is very easy to clean and to handle.

It's great for what we needed it. The only concern was that one of the edges where the wood meets wasnt completely sanded down and it leaves a small ridge when rolling.

I needed a rolling pin and did not want a "regular" one. I wanted something unique and nice to showcase. This is beautiful. I used it to make puffed pastry within days of receiving, my nine year old used it as well. Well balanced and easy to use.
