INSTALLATION Ensure that the fixture in need of a replacement bulb is safely positioned. If a string, check that each end is secured and the sockets clipped firmly into place. Remove the dead bulbs. Take one replacement bulb at a time out of its individual box and screw the bulb into a socket before moving onto the next socket and removing another bulb from its own box to repeat. The small boxes are easy to stow in a pocket while you're working, making for a safer, easier, quicker replacement experience. If it is windy, be sure there is enough space so that the bulbs don't knock against each other (or anything else!). To guard against bulbs breaking during installation, move the fixture slowly.
