12 Inch Wavy Shaft Wand Solid Wood

Mine is not for casting spells, but just for using as a prop and it's a very good one. Kind of pricey, but less than many of the plastic imitations that are mostly out there in the market due to the HP movies. Handmade/custom made and Made in the USA sometimes costs just a bit more and I think we all expect that and I also think it's okay. The design and craftsmanship are SUPERB and I think you'll have a tough time finding better or even just-as-good. Note that if you want to return an item it will cost you $5, but I don't think there is any way you'll be dissatisfied with this item. Even the finish was excellent and I'd say the same quality as fine furniture; no drips or gummed-up areas from sloppiness or anything like that. Can't say enough about the quality. One of the best purchases I've made on Amazon.

An original product, not like the Harry Potter resin replicas. One can tell that a lot of work, care and fine craftsmanship has gone into the making of the wand. I highly recommend this company. Each wand is made out a different solid hardwood and comes with a certificate naming the wood and serial number. You can of course choose your own wood, woods have different meanings and you might want to choose a wand wood that properly matches you or the person that it is for, this was an afterthought for me but the wand I received fit the personality of the person it was bought for. You can also create you own style wand, what a great idea. I am writing this review because the seller review did not give me enough room to express my opinion and delight for this company and the wonderful product it offers.

It was as advertised. Hand made, 12 inches long, hardwood, hand carved. No stray tooling marks, very nice finish.. It has plenty of interesting curves and textures to it which is important to me. I got it mostly for my fingers to have something interesting to enjoy the feel of which might be strange to you but it's an old habit usually have something interesting for my fingers to feel be it a pen, a small rock ir something. This looked like something I might enjoy for this odd habit. I use my touch to kind of "see" when I'm working on a project and my eyes for some reason can't see what I need to work on. So I keep my fingers in practice "seeing".

The wand itself is difficult to hold do to sharp edges on the square desine of the handle.

I picked up two of these (different styles) for my twin sons who are big Harry Potter fans. They went crazy over their "real wands". The craftsmanship on these is just beautiful. So much better than the cheap HP wands they sell.I found a quick and easy tutorial on Pinterest for making an Olivander wand box. It really complete the gift! This is a MUST for Harry Potter fans!

I love this wand! I got it for a halloween costume. It feels nice, and the carving work is really smooth. Mine was made of ash wood and was approx. 11 and 3/4 inches. The finish was very even. I would definitely recommend this wand. I think it was worth the $20.

The wood used is far lighter than the pictures would lead you to believe. The shape matches, but mine was a much lighter wood - doesn't look as cool as the darker wood pictures they have posted here.

The wand came in looking better than the picture! Delivery was earlier than expected and with a note explaining how to keep it in good condition. Lovely work, and a perfect companion for any wizardry adventures. Keep in mind it is a bit skinny, so best in small hands, at least compared to the other 16in I ordered.
