My granddaughter was struggling with homework (age 6) and we so enjoyed working thru this book together, colouring in was a reward for her at the end of each lesson as she loves to colour. We had great fun doing this through her half term break and she loved “playing schools”. Teddy wasn’t too good at spelling but my granddaughter did really well. Well worth the money. My daughters school sets her three tricky words/sight words a week- I rip the pages out of the book and put them in reusable pouches and she uses fine whiteboard pens so she can do them more than once. We have a few similar books but the ease of finding the tricky word means this is my favourite. It’s more for practicing writing than learning to read but for what we needed it’s perfect.
