Real nice material. I use it to fill in around the plugs in a 9oz. cup. Later I use soil when I increase the cup size

This stuff is fine for mixing with other soils to lighten it or help it hold water but lousey for cloning, used alone. The pieces are too large and allow to much air to circulate. I live in the desert with VERY low humidity and this stuff would dry out about 5 hours after watering. It's a nice soil amendment but I wouldn't' t use it for starting cuttings/cloning.
