Ontario, Vince, Lucky and Littles, friends since birth, brothers till death. Coming from nothing they find themselves engaged in the ruthless Baltimore drug trade. They will stop at nothing to take control of it, including taking out the most powerful mobster of the city - Michael Caprisci. As they systematically begin terminating the competition they have to engage a tangled yet simplistic plan to get Caprisci out of the game using of all people, his own son. In this game is there really a winner? Thug Life is an in-depth look into the world of street crime and those who rule the streets.

As the Director I hope you give it a chance
Thug Life: All In The Game, this was my third uber low budget film in 5 years. Believe it or not we shot this film for $1,700.00 on CANON 7D's and T2i cameras. We tried to raise $7,500.00 but since I am known for my zombie films (Deadlands 2: Trapped/Deadlands: The Rising) it was hard to convince my fan base and followrs to help us make an URBAN gangster film. The work you're watching is a colloboration between Baltimore City based actors, crew members and friends. Being a huge fan of HBO's The Wire I wanted to make a wire-esqe style indie film. Having the opportunity to work with not one but 3 former cast Members of The Wire (Chris Clanton - Savino Bratton, Micaiah Jones - Little Man, and Norman Jackson) it was a dream come true.Every ounce of the film was done uber cheap using real locations, real folks from the city, Baltimore based artists for 90% of the music soundtrack and with everyone working for Food... no pay at all.Originally titled All in the Game, the US distributor added thug life in hopes of opening the distribution market. Not a fan of the new title, but it is what it is.With our limited crew of 5 people we did our damndest to turn in something we could get behind. I hope you give it a chance, but understand if you don'tThanks in advanceGary Ugarek (writer and director)

Hood stuff
I need to say I did not like the black/white or whatever it's called filming they did. The story line was what I expected and I even saw a guy from The Wire in it. Other than that, it was okay.

Greyscale?
I didn't care for the greyscale production, what can I say? I prefer color production for anything shot after the early 1960's.The acting was decent but the gunfire sound editing was weak. Overall, I made it work for me considering I only invested $2.99. I've paid more for a bad cheese burger, and this film didn't leave me with heartburn.

Other than that I enjoyed some parts of it
Needed to be in color...the black and white presentation wasn't working for me. Other than that I enjoyed some parts of it.
