I was skeptical. I bought this to try. I caught a small bluegill, hook was imbedded pretty good and deep, I used this and it popped it right out. I was fishing for fun, catch and release, so this saved the fish's life. I'm now a believer in this product. Highly recommended. Also FYI I've been fishing all my life, no novice, but this was a new thing for me.

Love to fish but kind of a sissy sometimes. I’d rather have the toothy fish chomp on this item than on my fingers. Seems easier to use than pliers (at least for me). It’s sturdy and doesn’t seem like it will break anytime soon.

Construction is okay, but the length leaves a lot to be desired. I recently caught a variety of sizes of northern pike and smallmouth bass, and for inhaled lures or fish larger than 12" my knuckles were right up to the fishes' mouths when trying to get get the hooks out. I suggest going larger than you think you'd need.

It really gets the hook that was set deep into the fishes mouth. Saved many fish that swallowed hook without killing them. Great for catch and release

My wife got me this thing in to be honest I thought it was the dumbest thing I've ever seen I figured how could you get better than himos but I tell you what I don't know why it works so well but this thing pops the hook right out with ease its definitely worth a shot
