I am a volunteer EMT. I was looking for a better quality stethoscope to make it easier to hear blood pressures and lung sounds. The sound quality of this unit is excellent and very clear. I recently had the opportunity to do a side by side comparison with this Adscope 600 Platinum Series Cardiology Stethoscope and a "famous brand" Cardiology IV. The Adscope 600 was hands down much better. Sounds were louder, audio range seemed wider, the quality of sound was very clear, sounds were very distinct. The only downside that I see on it is the diaphragm is slightly heavier that most others. You quickly get used to it and it is not an issue for me.
