The attached picture is in an unfinished basement floor where there haven’t been any cats for a couple of months. Last years eggs hatched as well earlier in the spring.. This pic was taken one hour after setting it up. Over the past few years bombs, sprays and diatomaceous earth would help for awhile. This is already cutting down on the flea population rapidly. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Work great for many insects *by C***R on September 29, 2020* We bought it for fleas but it also catches spiders and other things. Both of my kids are now using them. They are great and have no negatives other than a little power usage. The sticky paper lasts for a long time and I have five of these placed around the house. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works *by S***I on May 24, 2020* We were unlucky souls that have recently had to deal with fleas. We have a dog and an indoor cat. Not sure where the dog picked them up or how long they were living under our nose before we realized. We purchased a flea comb and upped our daily vacuuming. We also gave the dog a bath with flea shampoo and gave both dog and cat over the counter flea medicine (I believe Frontline). That did nothing. We called the vet and they informed us that the over the counter stuff only works on some type of fleas and not all. So we bought the prescription stuff from the vet for both dog and cat. We noticed a huge difference quickly. We continued to vacuum daily and comb the cat and dog daily. After 3 weeks, I got frustrated that I was still finding a few fleas on one or both animals daily. We were also getting flea bites on our feet and ankles, likely feeding on us now that we were limiting the rooms the animals had access to. Knowing the life cycle of fleas, we suspect these fleas were newly hatched from eggs hiding in carpet but frustrated none the less. We purchased the 6 pack of these flea traps to put in different areas of the house. It's been one night, 3 traps caught 5-6 fleas each and the others caught none. Tonight, we'll move the traps to different areas of the house concentrating on the areas that found fleas last night. While there is no substitute for the medicine, vacuuming, and combing, I find these traps one more tool in our arsenal. Even just knowing where the fleas are coming from is great intel, now we know where we need to do a better job of vacuuming.
