Can supply 1 amp in ideal conditions, but modern car glass can cut that in half
My car is not being used during the Covid-19 lockdown and hasn't moved in several weeks. I have on-street parking and there is no mains power which would allow the use of mains power battery charger so I purchased this panel to keep the battery in the car topped up while the car isn't in use.The supplied suction cups are not the ones pictured in the product description and I found it difficult to fix the panel to the windscreen using them, but the panel is light enough that I was able to use a blanket to support the panel behind the windscreen. The included cables don't appear to be of great quality, and the crocodile clips, in particular, are thin-gauge wire with poorly crimped connectors.On a bright cloudless day in late April in London, with the sun shining directly onto the car windscreen, and using the cigarette lighter plug I saw 0.5 amp from the panel. Moving the panel outside the car - so the reflective layers in the windscreen weren't affecting the panel - I saw almost 1 amp. If you can place the panel directly in the sun, or have glass with no reflective or tint layers in it, you can get almost twice the power from the panel.The basic protection in the panel means it shouldn't be left connected overnight which makes it less than ideal as a 'plug-in and leave' device, but if your battery is in good condition, your car is parked somewhere where it's in direct sun for several hours a day, and you unplug it overnight, it can keep a car battery topped up.

It works.
I ordered the item to trickle charge my motorhome driving / car battery. Everything was as advertised. Packaged well and arrived two days early. Very easy to put together and fix on the windscreen using the four suction pads.Most importantly, it does the job I bought it for.

One charge doesn’t last long enough but as for ease of use, transportability etc. all excellent.

Failed after 2 months!
Works well, using to keep leisure battery topped up on campervan, save plugging in the electric hook up. Update this has now failed after 2 months, has only been used sitting on dash to charge leisure battery. Just shows an error on my solar charger, tried another panel that works perfectly, so this panel has failed! Can't send back now either, Amazon should allow 12 months minimum for faulty goods!
