Brilliant piece !
This is a work of extreme finesse and precision. I agree that this is a little heavy but if you are looking for a heavy bottomed pot, it will be a little heavy. But spot on for slow cooking and preparing all kinds of Biryanis, koftas and Kormas. Not to forget mutton dishes come out really nice. Since the lid does not have a hole it retains all the flavors and juices while slow cooking. Made out of die cast you dont find the studs on the inside, which I always found irritating.. It takes to heat up but after that its a consistent heat and wonderful cooking.Highly recommended for gourmets of cooking. Not for people used to very light pans and pots..I have bought two other products from the Caesar Collection of which this is a part.

Overall looking good but more specifion should be provided
5mm thickness is miss leading as you might think that whole body is 5mm thick but as per specification provided on the box , the body thickness is 2.5 mm and bottom is 5 mm thick.
