TimeMachines Precision Digital PoE Clock, 2.5“ x 6 Red Digits, Black Case

This is not a stand-alone clock, a network time server is required. One of my internal networks is totally isolated from WWW, so I use the TimeMachines TM2000A time server to keep very accurate time derived from GPS signals, and the TM260 time display to see the time. Being PoE, this display is very easy to install anywhere, no separate external power is required. The TM2000A also supplies time to all machines on the network so file creation/changes are timestamped the same across all machines. As pointed out by other reviewers, TimeMachines devices are excellent value for the money.

Works awsome! It was a lil tricky getting it going because i have an apple laptop. I couldnt get to the website where you can change the settings on the clock thru the safari browser but was able to get to it thru google chrome browser.

Though expensive for a clock, I wanted the exact, correct time at a glance, with a display readable from virtually anywhere with a sight line. This one is also completely silent (my previous electrics and of course any quartz clocks are not), and automatically resets itself after a power outage and for summer time. Golly, this clock even has its own web site for advanced settings.As these kind of clocks go (i.e. ones intended for commercial installation or speciallist use) the cost of this model is actually at/near the bottom of the range. Everyone must decide if the features are worth it vs. their needs. Myself, I love it.

This was really a great buy!I was really hesitant to buy the 2.5"-size digits, since I was afraid it will be small. However, when I got the clock, the digits size was more than enough for the living room, since it can be seen clearly from 30 feet away.The clock is simple and precise! Nothing more to say.One again, this was a great buy and the price was fair.

This clock is well made - it has a sturdy, metal body and just feels like a quality product when you are holding it. It's also very simply to set up - it took all of two minutes - just plug in an ethernet cable (w/ PoE) and in about 10 seconds the clock lights up with perfectly accurate time. The PoE really simplifies installation, as there does not need to be a power outlet nearby. I couldn't be happier with the purchase!

These may not be something everyone needs, but the Time Machine clocks represent an excellent value among these products. which generally cost 2 or 3 times more $$. Mainly geared to offices and schools, one of the can also be used at home. They never need setting, getting time from an internet time source.

I got lots of wows from guests who said my desk now looks like a NASA control room. It did lose connection to my CSS time server once but after a reboot it's been chugging along for three weeks now.

This clock has to be connected to a computer, You can not just take it out of the box and plug it into a wall outlet for it to work.
