top 5 bushcraft knife
had handled an aurora and felt the blade length was too small for battoning and did not like the short blade height. This one however Is in my top 5. For those not familliar with the aurora handle you either love it or not a fan, me somewhere in between. The swell of most knife handles is somewhere in the middle, but this one is positioned closer to the blade. As a result your grip is closer to the blade allowing better controll, however when feather sticking my hand kept moving forward digging into the choil. Thats the only con but not a dealbreaker just adjust the grip. With that said it battons well for .15 thick, cuts and feathers well. BRK sheaths are always top quality just slap some obenauf on it.
