The blade has minimal play. The OTF Assist Finger Actuator offers spring assisted opening action that flies open the double-edge blade at the push of a button. The blade will retract as well at the push of a button. This a first rate high quality knife.
The knife body is very well machined aluminum, (not zinc die cast.) The opening and closing is smooth and positive, with stout spring action. I have used this knife daily for about a month and have never had a failure to open or close. The blade steel is good quality stainless, but not one of the flavor of the month supersteels used in the much more expensive knives. So, if you are looking for a high quality everyday carry otf knife at a reasonable price, look no further.

Fails to lock
The knife build is ok but fails to lock in place everytime.
