Unattractive. Looks like painted plastic.
Bought this for my Mercedes 300E 5-speed. Its color and “grain” are nothing like what is in the picture. It isn’t close to the Mercedes zebrano trim. It looks like brown plastic that has been painted. Otherwise, it is a decent product that looks well-made.

Does not fit w124 shifter
This does not fit the std w124 for a 93 mb stick shift rod.The rod is not threaded but the knob is. You must find another rod and replace that in order to use this knob.or cut off existing shifter rod and glue this on.Waste of money.
