Excellent wheel choice for .540 trucks
This is a really nice set of wheels that fit microtrains (.540) trucks. They are very similar to the Fox Valley wheel sets that have been on the market for some time except where as the FVM insulated bushing is basically garbage and the wheels are prone to either falling apart or wobbling these wheels have a very well done design. Out of the 100 in the pack all 100 of them roll straight and true and more importantly all 100 of them were in one piece. These wheels are the same height as most all 36" wheelsets with a low profile flange that will not ride on tie spikes on finer gauge track. The face of the wheel has a very nice machined finish and do not look bulky like some other metal wheels. All in all if you prefer the look of the lower profile Fox Valley wheels but hate how you have to fix most of them out of the bag then the Trainlife wheel sets will be a far superior choice.
