Rococo (Art of Century Collection) Kindle Edition

This book is gorgeous! It is absolutely filled with artwork, and the text is informative AND interesting to read. I wish I didn't have anything to do except read it.

Really not much to this book. Not at all what I was expecting.

The rambling text is unrelated to the images and seems to be more concerned with name-dropping than communicating information about the subject. The image quality is okay, but many have no biographical information on the artist represented...yet a number of biographies have no images present... On the two major artists associated with Rococo, Fragonard has one paragraph, while Boucher is only given two! Much of the book is about architecture, sculpture, and painters who would not be considered Rococo save their date of completion.

Was looking for a book to help teach this to elementary students. The quality of the book isn't amazing but is good for the price.

I bought the book for research and I was happy to discovered both information, detailed by country, and images about the Rococo period.

It's a nice book with lots of nice pictures!

It has poor image quality , but I guess for the price you can't complain to much. I wanted this as a nice coffee table book.

I recieved a cheap print of an original book. Very disappointing. I am an artist and hoped to learn more from the master's but the colours were off making the book useless to me. Would not order it unless you are getting a hard copy.

Not impressed.

There is not much in this book; for almost AU$100 I would expect some more substance and content. Can find more information, better research and better images even on Wikipedia.
