I liked this stool as my cupboard is high on the wall and I need to get to the top shelf easily and without mishap. This stool is ideal. The steps fold out of the bottom to climb.It would have been nice to have the choice of a natural wood, varnished, stool to buy to match other stools I have, but the white goes with the walls. It is ideal for me and I am shortish.

First of all, in case it wasn’t clear, it arrives as a flat pack. The instructions are ok. All the bits were present and correct (in fact we had a spare screw at the end). But it was not easy to assemble - the holes for the fixings hadn’t been drilled straight, and it required quite a bit of force to get some of the screws in deep enough to lie flush. The tool provided for the job was only just up to the job - it’s the first time either of us has nearly destroyed an Allen key!However, now it’s assembled, it works well and looks good. The steps swing in and out easily; it’s sturdy and provides secure footing. All in all, I’d say good for the price.

Expensive but perfect for what I needed it for. A stool this height was hard to find. The quality is fantastic.

These steps are excellent and look great. The only reason I've rated the steps 4 is there was a small defect on one the steps but as it is at the back I decided to keep them.
