It's not just the looks - the country charm of this pattern is outstanding. It's also very durable and, so far, haven't found ANYthing that has stained it. We're a messy bunch, and our grandkids are way messier. Gravy, steak sauce, ketchup, mustard, fried chicken grease - these are a few I can think of that have landed on it - and were easily cleaned off it it! Grandson scribbled off the page (inkpen) onto it - came right off! Would definitely recommend, and buy again.

Initially, I wasn't pleased to see the lack of a hem on this tablecloth, because the scolloped edge seemed thin. I imagined the scallops would roll, or simply not drape properly after washing and drying--or fail to hold their neat shapes. Happily, I was very wrong!After washing and drying it looks perfect, drapes nicely, and stays clean remarkably well. Repelling a moderate amount of liquid is a function of its so-called "waterproof" feature (which it is not, really). That's what keeps it looking clean & fresh so long.Now it's a major plus for me (& my allergies!) that there was no odor to this tablecloth, not even right out of the wrapping. (Plastic-treated, chemical-treated fabrics can cause real problems for me.)The plum blossom pattern is quite pretty, more graceful than in the photo. The background color is soft, and depending upon one's own perception of color, it can look different at different times. To me, it looks either rather like pale teal (bluish) or mint (greenish) depending upon whether I'm seeing it by morning light or afternoon light. Interesting. I enjoy it. I recommend this tablecloth.

So I was looking for a table cloth that I could just sponge wash since no matter what I do a four year old is not going to be clean, and I don't want to wash a table cloth every day. This table cloth is nice and if something is spilled on it, it doesn't seep through! BUT it's not one that you can just wipe up on - if something is not cleaned up immediately, it will need to be washed. I read the reviews and the description carefully and it really did seem like this was a vinyl table cloth that was wipe-able, but it's not. And it slips, a lot - it's very light (which might be good for some people, just not my family).If you're looking for something lovely and whimsical and doesn't need to be toddler proof and you're ready to take it off and wash it a bit every now and again, then this might be the table cloth for you, it is very nice.

The hem on this is ridiculous. It’s just cut cloth. They tried to cut scallops, but they were totally uneven. It’s frayed right out of the box. You could never wash this or it would totally unravel. Needless to say, it’s getting returned.

When I received it and washed it, I was happy with the outcome....not too many wrinkles but me, being fussy, ironed it anyway. I had a dinner party and someone spilled oooooey gooey hot chocolate sauce on it. Much to my delight, it washed out with no trace of a stain. One person commented on how pretty the scalloped edge is. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The lines of the pattern are straight; spot of pizza sauce washed out with no special treatment; and no wrinkles, shrinkages, or curling ends after washing. Very durable without being vinyl or plastic. I highly recommend this Hewaba tablecloth.

From the product details I expected this to be able to be wiped clean, like a vinyl tablecloth. I have small children, and in the first 2 days I have mac and cheese and spaghetti sauce stains on this tablecloth. I like the way it looks, and I would have kept it as a tablecloth for guests and holidays if I knew how easy it was to stain. It is not for daily use with small children who are messy eaters and like to do crafts. I will be returning.

This tablecloth is so beautiful. It brightens the room when it is on the table. The scalloped edges are so nice. I have gotten many many compliments when I use it. It washes up very nicely and there is minimal if any wrinkling. Any stains are easily removed. The ordering process was easy and the delivery date was honored. The variety of different table sizes is very helpful . I highly recommend this tablecloth to anyone.
