Powerful and energetic
I'm always lerking around Amazon searching for my next musical gem, Unbreakable is one of those such finds. The fact that you haven't heard anything off this album on your local Alternative or Pop radio station shows a flaw in the way programmers choose what they play today. But that's a rant for another forum. Unbreakable is an excellent album, one of those rare albums where I don't have to skip a single track. I would describe Fireflight on this album as Power Pop leaning toward Alternative. Some of their chops remind me of Trapt except Fireflight is more versatile and has an incredible female singer in Dawn Richardson. Her vocals fill this collection of songs full of powerful emotion. Any song on this album could have been selected for a single, they are powerful, energetic and well written, and in my opinion, that good. Fireflight has packaged into Unbreakable a collection of infectious highly likeable tunes that will effect you some how whether it makes you tap your toe, sway your body or just get lost in the depths of Richardson's reach into a place she brings those powerful vocals from. Give Unbreakable a listen I can't imagine you being disappointed.I noticed in the tags that Fireflight is labeled "Christian Rock". I personally don't mind that. Maybe that's the reason this album isn't getting it's just attention. For good or bad, depending on how you look at it, or what you want out of it, the lyrics on Unbreakable are not obvious to the fact the band is Christion Rock. I own albums by other "Christian Rock" bands such as Casting Crowns and some lyrics are obviously trying to convey a Christian or Bible based message. I feel Unbreakable has been skillfully crafted in such a way that the lyrics could appeal to a mainstream audience without offending anyone while keeping with a positive message.

THE SECOND BEST FIREFLIGHT ALBUM
Arguably the second best Fireflight album in their catalogue. This one and "For Those Who Wait" are the ones I seem to want to play the most. Both albums rock hard and avoid any preachy preachy temptations. I didn't even know they were a christian rock band, and had to laugh to myself knowing that the wider christian fraternity considered this style of heavy music the "devil's music" only a few decades ago. They used to publicly burn guitar based rock albums like this, and yet, here they are now embracing their inner devil and rocking hard in the name of the lord.Weird, odd, contradictory, hypocritical... perhaps. But who really cares. This is great music from a great band.Buy it. You won't regret it.

I never knew how bad an influence my past music habits were
Never knew Christian Rock could be so uplifting and not depressing. I started listening to the words of the rock music I used to listen to. Wow, I never knew how bad an influence my past music habits were. I also listen to Skillet and Flyleaf w/ Lacey Mosley and now Lacey Sturm solo/ formerly Lacey M. Turned my life around and away from thoughts of suicide. Along with allot of help from yes, God.

I love thier style and sound
This is the first CD I bought of theirs and I love their style. I like most of their songs and the rest are at least ok. it seems like many artists put out a lot of filler songs on CDs in order to fill it up and make a album. Maybe the label those artists choose pressure them and so they do this. I don't get this impression from this bad. I plan on buying one of their other CDs also. The song that led me to buy this album was the video of Dawn talking about the Bible and then they sang Forever. I was looking for another band to start listening to, so I am happy I came across them.

Fireflight is the best!
Its been out for two years, but I just found them over the summer. Serenity was my first taste of the band, and since listening to it I've been hooked. Unbreakable is a little bit more refined than Healing of Harms, but it certainly does not lose any of the passion that makes the band so great. The title song is one of their best, but the Love We Had Before might be my favorite of theirs. I can't help but sing along every time I hear it. Like all of the Fireflight cd's, I listen to it atleast once a week, even months after buying it. This isn't one of those listen to it a couple of times and burn out on it cds. It got enough variety to keep you stuck on it for quite some time. For anyone that likes Christian rock this is a MUST get!

I like it. I need more of this kind of ...
Reminds me of Evanescence. but ironically has a twist of something that is positive? I like it. I need more of this kind of Christian music in my life. It sounds like proper music. Got it for my wife who wanted it. and of course the instantaneous download while waiting for a hardcopy of the cd to show up in the mail put the leg up on iTunes. Wrap it up and put a bow on it cause I'm sold.

Awesome!!!
I loved Fireflight when I saw them live at Creation Fest: the Show on November 18, 2008. For some reason it took me forever to get this album and their first album, but I finally did, and wow. This album is amazing too. I think I like Healing of Harms slightly better, but this album is awesome in its own right. It offers more of Dawn's amazing vocals along with that signature hard rock sound. As with Healing of Harms, there isn't a bad song here. I can't wait till their new album, For Those Who Wait, comes out on February 9. If you like Christian Rock, you should most definitely check out Fireflight.

Still my favorite Fireflight album
I love the sound of hard rocking, female fronted Fireflight and this is still my favorite of all their albums. It’s several years old now but it still makes it into my mix from time to time.
