Hogtunes REV 225-AA - 225 Watts RMS 2 Channel Amplifier, Fits 1998-2013 Harley-Davidson Motorcycles

I was hesitant to spend this much on the product, but the reviews and the easy installation made it worth the try.I followed all of the instructions and got all of the wiring cleaned up before powering on to test the product. After powering on, i found that one side didn't work. Troubleshooting revealed a bad male connection on the yellow wire (input side). Luckily, i had an extra connector and was able to re-terminate it. Got everything back together and sounded really good. Two days later, clutch side speaker went out again. Took everything back apart to find a bad connection on the 8-pin connector going into the amp (just wiggling the wires on that side confirmed it) Also found that the red wire on the bypass side was disconnected as well. I've got it working at the moment, but will be reaching out to supplier/manufacturer for a replacement wiring harness. I will update the review to see how customer service process goes.Overall, the product sounds great and installation would normally be super easy. The "plug and play" ability of this was the primary reason i decided on this amp. It just didn't work out for me.UPDATE. Just wanted to say that after letting HOGTUNES know about the issue, they have already sent me multiple emails letting me know that they are going to ship me a replacement harness. I've bumped the review up from 3 to 4 stars. Very impressive customer service! (And the bike still sounds great)

Called hogtunes for advice and they nailed it, order an amp and it made all the difference in the world! Very happy with hogtunes
