Fit was poor for my feet
Fit was poor for my feet. Too narrow across the toe, too wide in the heel. Clorts Outdoor Shoes was not a good company to buy from. I was charged for the return of the shoes - not the usual good experience I usually have with Amazon.

Great value for waterproof hiking boot
Initially, I thought they were super uncomfortable when I tried them on but I don't like hiking boots in general (tried the expensive brands and they all hurt my feet). I brought these boots as backup to trail runners and after toes hurting from 12 miles in those shoes, I had to put the boots on. They were great support and helped in the rocky rough areas. I hiked through snow and slush and my feet were completely dry. I haven't hiked more than 7 miles in these so not sure how well they will work longer distances but for the price I am impressed. Definitely buy 1/2-1 size bigger in most any hiking shoe. I bought half size bigger and would probably like full size bigger for thicker socksUpdated 1/2/18 - boots still going strong. And I realized I actually ordered a full size up. They definitely run small but once broken in, they are so comfy. I'm glad I stuck with them. I've gotten some good snow hikes in them and I remained dry everytime. The longest hike in these is now 10 miles and my feet did start hurting at about 8 miles. I'm probably going to buy another pair as backup.

ABSOLUTELY LOVE!!!
Bought these after my last work boots wore out and these have been fantastic. I am an agronomist and do a lot of scouting fields and walking and they are AMAZINGLY comfortable and fit great! They are completely waterproof (walking through water holes in fields and no leaking). If you are looking for an affordable and dependable work boot or hiking boot, this is it!

Disappointed
I was so excited to go hiking with my friend on our first big trip together. The first time I wore these shoes out hiking they broke. I was pretty disappointed with the performance of the shoe all day and felt bad about holding up my friend during our trip. Went hiking at Yosemite doing Tolumne Grove, Bridalveil falls and Vernal falls trails. I had been battling with the shoes all morning trying to get them to sit right. When I tried lacing both hooks the shoes would hurt my ankles. When I only laced them up to the first hook the tongue kept popping out of the shoe and changing the fit to be too loose. When I finally got them to sit right and started hiking up one of the trails the shoelace on my left shoe got caught in the hook of the right shoe and caused me to trip. Fortunately my friend caught me so I didn't fall but the hook completely ripped off of the shoe which leads me to believe if I had used the hooks regularly it would not hold up to much wear. I really hope this was just a single defective pair.Pros:Feet were comfortable for the first 6 miles.Feet stayed dry while hiking up Vernal Falls while the falls were roaring and the trial was wet.Cons:Feet hurt after 6 miles and no longer felt like there was any cushion or arch support. The tongue doesn't fit quite right. It always pops out of the shoe if you only get the laces to the first hooks.Lacing to the second hooks is very uncomfortable around the ankles. The hook broke off after hooking onto the lace of the other shoe while walking (see image below), just ripped clean off.Shoes do run small. I recommend going half a size up or more. I'm usually a 6-6.5. 6.5 was much too tight. 7 fit perfectly. If the shoes can fit right on your feet I would recommend these for light walking but they aren't suitable for moderate-intense hiking.

SUPER comfortable without the bulkiness (even for smaller shoe sizes)
I wear a women's size 5.5 and it is very hard for me to find a hiking shoe that is small enough, not to mention comfortable and not bulky. This hiker hits the mark!. Not only is it SUPER comfortable, but they were broken in rather easily and do not hit or rub my ankles raw. So far very durable as well. Highly recommend.

Pleasantly surprised by great hiking boots
From previous reviews I sized a half size up to 7 1/2. It was a great decision because now the boots fit GREAT. They're not too tight or narrow and they're not too big either. The color of the boot is really nice and true to the description. I've worn them once, and so far so good. I had them on for like 8 hours straight and even though my feet were a bit tired they stayed supported, not sweaty and pretty comfortable in the boots. I have yet to see how they do when they get wet but again they're really nice hiking boots

Very good boots that will keep your feet dry and warm
Very good boots that will keep your feet dry and warm. A little stiff to star with, it starts to break after a week. I love the brow color and the fact that the outside is narrow so my feet don't look huge like snow boots, it look a bit more feminine that way. They also arrived earlier than expected with was a good suprise. I do recommande.

Hold up very well
Clorts hiking boot. Love these boots. Made well and they last. Find them to be rugged and comfortable. Also waterproof as vendor has stated. It has been a pleasure working with this vendor and will definitely do business with them again. Ordered 3 different pair of clorts as I had ordered a pair a few years ago and have worn them all through the winters and they are still in very good shape.
