I enjoy this item as a portafilter funnel and it works great for that. But if you use the shake feature, grinds tend to stick inside and don't release without getting more involved. A smoother or at least a less sticky surface would be nice. If you just want a funnel to minimize the grinder mess, this is a superior choice for that.
