Flora of the Silk Road is the most extraordinary plant book I have ever experienced - having a terrific wealth of the most incredible photographs of plants and some of the most unusual ones that I have ever experienced. Also, the text contains very comprehensive information on plants, that I have never seen before in books, and botany from some of the worlds least known places. It's really fascinating to learn about and see what the landscapes and life look like along the silk road, one of the worlds greatest secrets. The book, with it's wonderful collection of photographs of so many beautiful flowers to look at is the uplifting and inspirational experience I was looking for!I praise the authors and publisher for their great work in the making of this book. Thank you very much!

This is the most beautiful book and fits my needs perfectly. My neighbors son is mentally challenged and this book with so many beautiful flowers will bring a big smile at Christmas time.

I have hundreds of books on plants, and have even co-authored three myself, but this is one of the most beautiful flower books I have ever seen. The photography is stunning, and the species depicted are uncommonly to rarely if ever seen published. If you like seeing pictures of flowers in habitat, this is must-have book, absolutely!!! Also the book is incredibly priced!

I would give it 10. absolutely fascinating and I am not a armchair traveller. Plants that are in my garden I can now see them growing in the wild. For a gardener this book will arouse your gardening lust.

I wish I had seen this when it was published, it is a most beautiful book with gorgeous photos. We can see where some of our plants come from. A pure delight.

It might only be a mouth watering insight into the flora of the Silk Road areas, as it covers less than a hundredth of the flora. However the quality of the pictures make it a wonderful Coffee Table book and one to thumb through and dream of travelling the route.

A fairly massive work of incredible beauty if wildflowers of this region are your thing. The text is also extremely well written and informative which cannot be said for many botanical narratives. Buy it if you have any ambitions to explore the flora of these parts of our planet.Worth every penny!

A beautifully illustrated book, just by the photos (which are excellent) it conveys how many plants we have gained for our humble gardens. So pleased to have bought this book, and the seller sent the item very promptly, cannot fault the whole process and purchase.

A great read, even if most of the time you'll pick it up to look at the stunning photographs. Will certainly influence my choice of holiday destinations!
