I took it out of the box and it had some kind of white crusty stuff all over it, like it was used. I thought I was buying something new. Never had this happen before. I haven't even used it yet. Tried to take a picture but my app wouldn't let me. Disappointed. But I will give another review later.

This ice cream maker is sooo super simple! You do have to prep your ingredients beforehand so they can sit in the fridge overnight and chill. A couple hours of chilling works BUT you have to churn the ingredients for longer. We’ve found that we like to churn the ice cream and then take the bowl and pop it in the freezer to firm it up a bit. Straight off of churning it’s more of a soft serve. Only thing I wish it came with a lid for when you want to save the rest and not have to scrape it out of the churning bowl.Overall this product is great and so is the brand.

Popsicles are small and very hard to get out without breaking them off.IDK about ice cream maker. I wanted it for Ppopsicles.Sent back for refund.

Nice machine. Good instruction and easy to understand. Used ice cream maker and followed directions. I do not like that you lose product because it is stuck to the side and bottom of the freezing container. The paddle needs to be flexible on the end and gently touch and scrape the sides of the container, so your product isn't frozen there. You cannot scrape it off because the contain stays frozen for a long time.

You have to freeze the maker overnight first, be sure your ingredients are very cold, churn it, then freeze the finished ice cream to make it the right consistency. It's good, but just takes a long time. Plan 2 days ahead.

My granddaughter loves making things to eat. This is very easy for her to use. Instructions are easy to follow and recipes are included. The magic is the outer ring you place in the freezer for the specified time. Then you simply place the motor and top onto the ring, pour in the ice cream base per the recipe, and plug it in. In about 30 to 40 minutes, you have delicious ice cream. She loved being able to do this.

Due to COVID, my husband and myself have not been able to go to Thrifty’s for ice cream. I figured buying this would be ideal since we often have lots of ingredients for ice cream already.So my first batch was not the best - it didn’t get creamy. I attempted to make some dairy free ice cream which tastes good but after freezing it, it was too hard. I also did not let my sugar dissolve so it messed with the texture.BUT My second attempt was perfect! My tip is to let the bowl truly freeze overnight or longer. Make your mix and put it in the fridge for an hour or freezer for about 20/30 minutes.I made a vanilla ice cream - heavy cream(dairy alternative), sugar, almond milk, vanilla extract. Nice and creamy. I also made this same mixture with dairy products. Both were good!I also made a chocolate ice cream, same ingredients as above plus unsweetened cocoa powder.There’s a book that has recipes also. I even froze peanut butter “globs” and added them to my chocolate ice cream.

Most ice cream maker is 2qt and this one is 1qt. It is hard to find recipes for 1 qt. ice cream maker.

My first attempt at making mint chip, almond and cherry flavor I used xylitol sugar, because I am on keto, it did not work out. I had to freeze it on its own. The second round I used swerve sugar, and it worked out amazing as you could see in the video.

Update: Forgot to add to this review that the product turned out to be faulty .. constantly has something that leaks and crystallizes once it defrosts .. garbage, so no I would absolutely never recommend this. I haven't ever been able to use it because I think likely it's dangerous with this leaky stuff.The front of the box was wet and when I got it open there was more wet which was all through the box and the splash guard and ingredient chute along with some that had crystallized. The motor p unit was also covered in these things so I'm hoping it will work once I get time to test all. It was disgusting to clean up. I have now put the cooling bowl in the freezer and am hoping that if that's what has leaked out there will still be enough for this to work. This was not due to shipping clearly as there was not enough time from when it was shipped until when it was delivered for this to have crystallized.

Muy bueno el material y todo el único problema es que tienes que checarlo hasta que llegue a tu casa ya que a mí me pasó que le faltaba una pieza y si la empresa te me vuelve a reenviar con la pieza que falta o piezas que faltan está muy bien.

Doesn't stay cold long enough. Disappointed but price was right.
