After reading reviews from others about the glass melting or popping I have to say I am very happy with these. We use them in a 50,000 BTU propane fire pit and there was no melting and none of the pieces popped and broke. We used them the first time while camping and had the fire going about an hour the first night until we ran out of propane, four or five hours the second night and two hours the next morning. The only thing we encountered was the glass stays hot for a bit so we had to let it cool before packing. I love the size of these, they are about as thick as the diameter of a dime and long as the diameter of a quarter. The color is very rich and vibrant. I combined Pacific Blue. Love them and highly recommend.
