Crazy Taxi

Hey Hey Hey, it's time to play Craaaazy Taxi! Classic arcade game, later ported to the Dreamcast and then to the Gamecube. Fast, crazy action with an awesome soundtrack featuring The Offspring and Bad Religion.

Simple gameplay - pick up customers, deliver them to where they want to go while impressing them with your daring driving skills. Rinse and repeat. It's a fun game that you don't have to devote a ton of time to. You can play the arcade style (start with 60 seconds as if you dropped a quarter in), or choose the 'original' or 'arcade' version map and choose to drive for 3, 5, or 10 minutes. The map titled 'original' seems to be second or new map, since the game started out in arcades. Perhaps it meant it was original content for the console version? Oh and the soundtrack is great - Bad Religion and Offspring.

As someone who grew up playing Crazy Taxi on the sega dreamcast, I must say future re-releases of the game such Game Boy Adavance , [[ASIN: B00AEV8K8Y PC]], Andriod , XBOX 360's "Dreamcast Collection" were just downright terrible Most of the future re-issues I mentioned had the businesses such as Levi's, Pizza hut, KFC, tower records, Fila, ETC, and music by Bad Religion and Offspring removed from the game, Likely due to copyright issues. but having those removed really took the fun out of the game Luckily, the game cube version was able to keep the game exactly the same was on the sega Dreamcast so if you can obtain a copy of crazy taxi with everything intact, I must say the game cube release is a perfect one to get if you can find a copy.

I ordered the game July 13th and not only did it take a whole week just to process, but it took till July 27th just to get here. I like the game, its great. Its fun to have a game that I always used to play on those arcade consoles but I just wish it hadn't taken forever to get here, it was after all supposed to be a birthday present and it ended up arriving waaay after the party

I don't have a sega dreamcast so I got this game for my gamecube. I like that the original crazy taxi soundtrack is used instead of the new ones.

I bought Crazy Taxi because I loved playing it in the arcade. I wasn't disappointed in the gameplay. This isn't my primary game, but fun to play every so often for a while. However, I'm really disappointed in the language for this game. Mine came with a well-deserved Teen rating. There was no need for that type of language in the game. This game would otherwise be perfectly suitable and fun for my kindergarten-aged son to play, but the language makes me want to throw the game away.

If you were a fan of Crazy Taxi back in the day like I was, you will enjoy this game. The Gamecube version is solid and the gameplay, visuals and music all remain the same after all these years. I picked it up for a low price and I do enjoy it. Good, arcade fun. The only issue I have found with the game is that sometimes before or after you pick up a fare, the car may not accelerate. This has caused me to lose lots of time. It's a little clunky and takes some finessing, but overall, it's Crazy Taxi, a classic arcade gem that must be in your collection.
